We’re looking for the right people to join our team in our new flagship center in Denver, slated to open this summer.

CURRENT POSITIONS

Addiction Management Coach

The Addiction Management Coach is responsible for providing peer-based coaching and ongoing support to improve the wellbeing of individuals impacted by addiction. You will be guiding people through a behavior change and wellness process. We apply the latest chronic disease management research, technology, and data science to help people navigate the challenges associated with addiction.

Our coaches must complete and maintain Face It TOGETHER Addiction Management Coach Certification. The addiction management coach reports to the Lead Coach.

Primary responsibilities include:

Navigation and Care Delivery
  • Serve as primary peer-based care provider. Assess client’s circumstances, assist with information and navigation to community-based resources and/or clinical care based on client’s needs, develop client wellness objectives, and engage clients through change and wellness processes.
  • Collaborate with all other coaches, addiction management team, and others to identify and help solve various problems affecting the client’s ability to positively change.
  • Triage walk-in clients. This will include assisting both persons with addiction and loved ones through an initial conversation and conducting addiction wellness profiles, interacting and managing crisis situations as they occur; and working with other coaches and/or outside authorities/providers when necessary.
  • Participate in and occasionally lead regular case reviews. Case reviews ensure that we understand the client-coach dynamic, learn from each other, and ultimately serve our clients with the best quality, utmost respect, highest ethics, and absolute effectiveness.
  • Stay current with client records, communicate as needed to motivate action and advance client’s goals, and review client data and analysis provided within AXIS — Face It TOGETHER’s addiction management software.
  • Document care with clients, utilizing AXIS as trained.
  • Advocate for clients when appropriate. This may include providing letters to employers, other care providers, criminal justice and others involved in your client’s care and wellness journey. May also include attending events or functions, representing Face It TOGETHER and speaking on behalf of your client.
  • Perform, as a regular course of the certified coaching role, all welcome desk and communications concierge duties as scheduled and/or as needed.
    • The Welcome Desk role is responsible for welcoming and exiting all guests and clients, serving as the facility host and guide for all guests and clients. The Welcome Desk team will often be the first and last face many of our clients and guests see.
    • The Communications role is responsible for answering all incoming calls, texts, and other messages; connecting non-addiction management communications with appropriate team members; providing information and navigation support; and completing scheduling requests where appropriate.

Privacy and Ethical Care
  • Report any concerns about clients and/or other addiction team members to appropriate managers and supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Follow all Face It TOGETHER policies and procedures to ensure client confidentiality, privacy, and ethical standards and regulations are met.

Training and Certification
  • Complete and maintain Face It TOGETHER Addiction Management Coach Certification. This requires participating in all continuing education training sessions — in-person or online.
  • Participating in regular coach supervision requirements and performance evaluation reviews.

General
  • Engage in special projects or other Face It TOGETHER activities. This will include serving various roles in the execution of the Workplace Initiative, participating in community-based events and activities held at our addiction management centers, attending outreach meetings as necessary to provide a voice of authenticity, and engaging with media when appropriate and approved by Face It TOGETHER’s communications team.

This role is for you if you:
  • Have personal experience with addiction, either directly or as a loved one.
  • Have a high Emotional Quotient (EQ) (don’t worry, we’ll test for this). You are naturally good at emotionally connecting with people.
  • Have incredible communications skills. You will be working in a professional environment, communicating one minute with a client who is really struggling and unfocused, then the next minute answering a call with a business CEO.
  • Can be a voice of strength and compassion — at the same time!
  • Have authenticity of voice. In other words, you’ve been there, done that.
  • Pay attention to detail and organization.
  • Are non-judgmental and can build trust that sets a foundation from which the wellness process can begin and grow.
  • Are quick on your feet. Working with our clients sometimes requires the ability to stay one step ahead to ensure positive results.
  • Are a problem solver. Many of our clients are where they are because their problem-solving and decision-making skills are impaired. You need to solve the problem and effectively communicate the solution so the client can make positive decisions.
  • Are tech-savvy and know how to type really well. We use the latest communications and data technology to deliver addiction management in a new way.
  • Like to work in a fun and fast environment. Sure, we’re dealing with some heavy issues, but we must enjoy our work.
  • Can assist people in positively changing their behaviors.
  • Have a willingness to constantly learn and apply that learning to what you do inside and outside our technology platform.
  • Can think independently, challenge conventional wisdom, but work amongst a team of really bright and highly motivated team members who want to change lives and the world around them.
  • Desire to be part of a team reinventing addiction care.
  • Understand the difference between providing a service and providing hospitality. Yes, we are delivering care through services and products, but our clients must feel welcome and wanted above anything else.
  • Maybe have a degree in psychology, sociology, or even economics. A degree is not required… but those subject matters matter to our work.

Qualification

All addiction management coaches and support team members are required to complete a background check. We will conduct the background check during the final stage of interviews. A criminal history itself is not a disqualification. We will especially review any convictions involving violence to children, sexual violence or assault, domestic violence, and/or financial impropriety. Each issue will be treated on a case-by-case basis.

This position will be based in Denver, CO.
